The International Press Club “Stereoscope” is aimed at broadening and connecting perspectives of journalists from Europe, including Russia, the South Caucasus, Ukraine and EU countries.
It offers a platform for reflection and professional exchange, where the perspectives of journalists can be considered, confronted and challenged.
It brings into focus the interdependencies of public opinion and the tenets of journalistic reporting and state intervention described above, while offering an opportunity to look back, analyze and deconstruct selected reports.
The project was initially motivated by the challenges of reporting on the Maidan and the following war in Ukraine, especially concerning the influence of state-sponsored propaganda on the minds of journalists and media recipients alike.
